Gateway Outdoor Awarded Transit Advertising Contract In Riverside County, California
Hackettstown, N.J., May 31, 2007 – Gateway Outdoor Advertising, an out-of-home media company with transit advertising, billboard and convenience store advertising contracts (GOMedia) throughout North America, has won an exclusive contract to sell advertising on buses and transit shelters operated by SunLine Transit Agency, which serves Riverside County, California. SunLine’s ridership base includes the 412,000 residents of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, Cathedral City, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, Indio and other communities located in the Coachella Valley, about 100 miles east of Los Angeles. In fiscal year 2006, SunLine collected nearly 3.5 million fares.
